About J/80
A 1,400 lb lead keel gives the J/80 a big-boat feel on a 26-foot hull. The boom is high enough to duck under comfortably, and the cockpit is twelve feet long, so a crew of four can work the boat without getting in each other's way.
It will do fifteen knots under spinnaker, and it will also sail home calmly under main alone. That range is what makes it such a good next step after the Andrews 21.
A J/80 membership also opens the entire Andrews 21 fleet to you, which makes it the most flexible tier we offer. As with the Andrews, you book the class rather than a named hull.
StudentsStudents of the sailing school get unlimited use of the Andrews 21s and J/80s, and $500 off those deposits.
